Ryan & Victoria: The Road to Happily Ever After…
When you’ve waited your entire life to meet your soul mate, said “yes!” to the proposal, and the gorgeous summer weather provides a backdrop to cherish…you celebrate! To honor Ryan and Victoria’s engagement, Vicki’s parents opened their gorgeous New Jersey home to their closest friends and family. Top-tier décor, a customized engagement cake, and private on-site catering by David Alan Caterers were all brought in to compliment our exclusive event entertainment services for the evening.
The day of their celebration started with a few concerning morning raindrops. As the morning progressed however, it’s as if Mother Nature knew that Ryan and Vicki were preparing for their celebration; the raindrops disappeared, the clouds opened up, and the summer sun was ready to greet the day’s guests. As we arrived for our customary pre-event set-up, we were welcomed by the stunning bride-to-be, accompanied by her elated Mother, and their family dog. Vicki and Mom greeted Ryan’s family shortly thereafter, and based on the love and joy that already filled their home, we knew that it would be an exceptional celebration (sometimes, as an event entertainer, you just get the feeling as soon as you see the guests arrive)! Friends and family, traveling from near and far, filled the spacious home, with enthusiastic anticipation. My inklings regarding a fun guest list were quickly confirmed when a guest requested Mark Morrison’s “Return of the Mack” during cocktail hour!
As the celebration continued, personalized elements included beautiful toasts by Vicki’s parents, and grandparents, Ryan’s brother sharing his acoustic talents via guitar and cover of “Brown Eyed Girl”, and a round of “Marital Muse” (an engagement-themed variation of 2013’s DJ Times' "Game of the Year", “7-Second Artist”, created by Jake Jacobsen).
Wishing Ryan, Vicki, and their families continued love, success, and happiness!
